THIRD DAY ELECTRONIC PRESS KIT

    Started in 1991 by Mark Lee and Mac Powell, and joined in 1993 by Tai Anderson and David Carr and in 1995 by Brad Avery, Third Day has become a major force in contemporary Christian music in short order. Over the past few years the band has had 15 #1 singles, received three Grammy nominations, and won eight Dove Awards. At the forefront of the mainstream Christian music scene, Third Day has also been featured on CNN and NBC and in Billboard, US Magazine, CCM, as well as writing and performing a song for Coca-Cola.
    To promote the release of their album Time, which they say gets back to their southern roots, we created an electronic press kit (EPK) for Essential Records' marketing and promotion campaign. The EPK includes concert clips shot on location in Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia, inter-cut with interviews shot at Theater on the Square in Marietta, Georgia. After getting the band's thoughts on their new album, we took them out on the square to capture spontaneous interactions with people who recognized these hometown boys.
