ARMY
SAFETY CAMPAIGN PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS
These five Public Service Announcements
for the U.S. Army's "Drive to Arrive" campaign show
our ability to create entertaining spots, work with well-known
talent, tell a story in a short amount of time, and achieve
the highest quality possible from new image acquisition formats.
The campaign, which features Sony
Nashville recording artists Travis Tritt, Collin Raye, Tammy
Cochran, Joe Diffie, and Charlie Robison, is aimed at preventing
traffic accidents and fatalities among off-duty military personnel.
Using humor to convey these serious messages, the spots focus
on the bad driving habits of using cell phones, applying makeup,
speeding, and dozing off.
We used the new Sony HDW-F900 24P
HD camera while shooting on location in Nashville, Atlanta,
Fort Rucker, and Fort McPherson. We were chosen for the project
because of our creative abilities and experience with the
HD 24P format, and using it again afforded us another opportunity
to see just how viable it is for theatrical release.
