A SEPARATE CINEMA

    This project shows our ability to tell a story in a stylistic way within a limited timeframe. We used the promotional elements to show how this series was recovering an important part of cinematic history that had too quickly been forgotten. We approached it in such a way that even viewers who saw nothing more than the open and promotional spots would learn about the rich heritage of early African-American cinema.
