MISS
PATTY CAKE IS COMING THROUGH THE DOOR
Atlanta, GA-Through
the Door Entertainment, a subsidiary of Triple Horse Entertainment
specializing in entertainment for kids, has just completed
production of four new pre-school shows featuring the
lovable Integrity Music character Miss Patty Cake. Karl
Horstmann, owner of Triple Horse and director of the shows
says, "Because so many members of the Triple Horse
family have small children, we're always looking for ways
to do create quality programming for kids."
Created by Nancy Gordon, Miss
Patty Cake, played by Jean Thomason, is inspirational
entertainment for kids that includes stories, games, and
songs. Starting out as a stage play that traveled around
to various churches, Miss Patty Cake resonated with children
and parents alike from the very beginning.
The four new episodes follow the
success of two pilot shows shot and released into the
home video market in 1997. "There was a real grassroots
following for those first two shows," Horstmann says.
"They did exceptionally well, and we knew we had
to do more."
Combining
the enormous creative resources of Integrity Incorporated
and Triple Horse brought together an amazing collaborative
team which includes Chris and Jean Thomason, Don Moen,
and Steve Merkle from Integrity and the entire Triple
